Industrial Engineer, specialist in Techniques Techniques by the School of Industrial Engineering of Bilbao. Since 2018 he is co-founder and presidentof Endurance Motive, S.A, a BME listed company Growthwhich designs and manufactures lithium-ion batteries for key sectors in the energy and transportation transition. Previously, in 2015, he was a co-founder of Ampere Power Energy S.L., a company dedicated to intelligent residential energy management solutions integrated with storage. During the company’s first year and a half ( October 2015- March 2017) led the launch of the company together with the founding partners. Today Ampere Energy is a benchmark in the renewable energy sector for its smart energy management solutions and residential, industrial and shared self-consumption, through its AMPGY platform and applications for Renewable Energy Communities.
Previously, from 2006 to 2015, he was co-founder and CEO of Grupotec Solar, S.L., a company participated by Grupotec, S.A. and whose activity is the development, construction and operation of photovoltaic plants. The company Grupotec Solar was the leader in Spain in industrial rooftop PV installations between 2008 and 2010. In 2012, following the moratorium on renewables in Spain, the company moved its headquarters to the United Kingdom and created GrupotecRenewablesLTD, in Richmond (London), managed by Ander Muelas. For four years (2011-2015) Grupotec Renewables develops and builds photovoltaic parks for investment funds in the UK, with an accumulated turnover of more than 500 M€ and consolidating its position as one of the largest EPC companies (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) in the UK.Engineering, Procurement and Construction) in Europe. Currently, Grupotec is a multinational company that develops and builds photovoltaic parks in 16 countries, accumulating more than 1,100 MW of built projects.
The rest of his professional career has been spent at Siliken (2004-2006) where he held the position of Project Development Manager being in charge of the development of the first photovoltaic parks in Spain and in the Ente Vasco de la Energía (1996-2004) as Project Engineer in the areas of Energy Efficiency and Cogeneration Plants.
He has also been a member of the Board of Directors of the Valencian Association of Energy Sector Companies since 2018.
